Projob optimises recruitment communication with smart automation from Selection Lab

Projob is a full-service recruitment agency that offers recruitment solutions for both candidates and clients. With years of experience in matching professionals with the right opportunities, Projob has built a strong reputation for its human-centric approach. They understand that recruitment is not just about filling vacancies, but about guiding people in their careers and creating meaningful connections between employers and talent.

Disconnect in the recruitment tech stack

We hear it all the time from Recruitment Managers: tools that should talk to each other, don’t. Or unnecessarily high drop-off rates of top-tier candidates. Projob faced many of these issues and was determined to find a smarter, more connected solution that wouldn’t compromise the candidate experience.

Smart integration of tools and communication

In collaboration with Selection Lab and Getnoticed, Projob launched a renewed approach. Getnoticed, a trusted partner of Projob for over 15 years, builds recruitment websites and runs online campaigns. They introduced Projob to Selection Lab. Getnoticed believes that the career page is an essential part of a candidate's journey, especially the moment right after applying, when timely response is crucial.

Projob, being a people-oriented organisation, saw this as a great opportunity to explore whether automation could support their work and free up more time for relationship management and building long-lasting connections.

The collaboration began with a specific vacancy for Kawasaki, where Projob needed candidates with concrete qualifications. Candidates applied through the career page developed by Getnoticed and immediately received a WhatsApp message. In this conversation, they could ask and answer questions tailored to the vacancy. Selection Lab then provided a clear report with all responses, effectively replacing the first screening call.

Positive feedback included:

  • Easy to use for both recruiters and candidates

  • Candidates enjoyed answering the questions

  • It provided insight into candidate motivation through non-responses

A second implementation targeted a blue-collar role, using a Facebook campaign to generate applicants. These candidates submitted only their name and phone number, so Projob initially had little information. The WhatsApp flow by Selection Lab gathered key data, such as possession of a driver’s license and segmented candidates accordingly. This led to considerable time savings. Two candidates were ultimately hired, and early client feedback was positive.

The technical integrations between the career page, Facebook campaigns, and Selection Lab were easy to set up and worked flawlessly.

Time savings and improved accessibility

  • 125 WhatsApp conversations with candidates

  • 2,500 minutes of recruiter time saved

  • Candidates could apply and engage at any time of day

Conclusion

By combining modern technology with user-friendliness, Projob created a more efficient and candidate-friendly recruitment process. Thanks to the collaboration with Getnoticed and Selection Lab, candidates could be screened and prioritised early in the process, without losing the personal touch.
