Welten is the go-to secondment agency for finance professionals aiming for careers in banking, insurance, or government sectors. With over 1,000 applications per month, Welten faced three major challenges: candidates often waited too long for a response, the process was fragmented and time-consuming, and there was insufficient time for personal contact and relationship building. This led to the unnecessary loss of both clients and candidates.

After the initial rollout, the flow was evaluated. Feedback indicated a need for more human interaction. As a result, Welten added a manual WhatsApp check and a phone interview step. This way, the company combined the power of automation with meaningful human touchpoints—achieving speed and scalability without losing the personal element.
Through automation, the following results were achieved:
Thanks to the collaboration with Selection Lab, Welten successfully modernized its selection process without losing the human element. The outcome: faster placements, more satisfied candidates, and significant time savings for the team.
