Before you start: you need a company admin role in Teamtailor to set up the integration.
Go to the Teamtailor marketplace from your Teamtailor account and look for ‘The Selection Lab’ in the assessments category. Click Activate and you land on the configuration screen.
You have two options here, depending on whether you already work with Selection Lab.
Provide some basic details and we create the account for you: company name, a business email address, and a first and last name for personalisation.
Link your existing account to Teamtailor using an API key. No key yet? Request one from within your Selection Lab account via chat, or mail [email protected].
For both options, use the (re)validate button to finish. When it works, a green banner appears: ‘Credentials are validated at <today’s date>’.
After validating, click Update to start using the new credentials. If something goes wrong during validation, a red banner shows the error.
After activation the integration shows up in two places: as a trigger (‘Send The Selection Lab webhook’) and inside candidate profiles as an integration (‘Send webhook. The Selection Lab’).
In both cases you pick the default communication language and the type of assessment. There are four types by default: a personality assessment on its own, or a personality assessment combined with a cognitive intelligence test, available at three levels.
When a candidate is invited, automatically or manually, Teamtailor sends the required candidate data to Selection Lab: first name, last name and email address. Combined with the chosen language and assessment type, we send the invitation to the candidate.
Once the candidate completes the assessment, a report becomes available to them. The candidate then chooses to share the result or to deny companies access to the report.
If the result is shared, a status update goes back to Teamtailor with a completed status and a link to the report. By default, the user who created the company receives a notification on updates.
Want to disconnect your Teamtailor and Selection Lab accounts? Type ‘delete’ in the form, click Revalidate credentials and then Update to complete the deletion. Neither your Teamtailor account nor your Selection Lab account is deleted.
