3 Reasons we love this assessment

01
What a CV doesn't tell you
CVs show what someone did when things went well. Coping shows what someone does when they don't. For roles where setbacks are guaranteed, that's the difference between 'okay' and 'gold'.
02
Predicts whether someone stays
Short-term performance often comes down to talent and motivation. But who stays in the long run? That comes down to how someone handles the bad days. Coping doesn't predict one-hit wonders it predicts sustainable performance.
03
Insight for you and your team
Not just for hiring. Everyone who takes the test gets personal feedback on their own coping strategies, what works and where there's room to grow. A gift to your team, not a test.

Information

Done in 5 to 7 minutes

A short multiple-choice test with concrete questions 'what do you do when…?'. No abstract psychology questions, no long questionnaires. Just a reliable read on how someone handles pressure.

Not every role needs the same coping

A controller needs to stay calm under deadlines. A salesperson needs to bounce back from rejection. A manager has to know when to step away. The Coping Test helps you match: which strategies fit this role, in this place, in your team?

Bonus: burnout risk in view

Alongside the three coping types, we calculate an indicative burnout risk score. People who lean heavily on avoidance strategies are demonstrably at higher risk of dropout. Early signals, in the same measurement.

Objectives

The Big Five Personality Model assesses key personality traits that influence behavior and performance:

Green key icon symbolizing security or access.

Task-oriented coping

Tackling the problem head-on: making a plan, finding solutions, getting going step by step.

Orange planet with irregular surface markings resembling craters or patches.

Emotion-oriented coping

Regulating your own emotions: breathing, reframing, seeking social support, taking a step back.

Orange icon of a plus sign inside a dotted square.

Avoidance coping

Seeking distraction, postponing, denying that anything is wrong. In the short term sometimes relieving, in the long term risky especially when it becomes the dominant strategy.
