Database Management

Databases sit behind nearly every application, dashboard and ERP. Anyone who doesn't understand how data is structured ends up making mistakes you only notice months later. The Database Management Assessment measures in multiple-choice questions whether a candidate understands the basics of relational databases: tables, keys, normalisation and basic queries. For data, IT and operations roles where database knowledge prevents costly errors.

3 Reasons we love this assessment

01
Knockout on the structure
Anyone who can't tell a primary key from a foreign key won't design data structures that hold up. A fast first filter for data and IT roles.
02
From user to admin
Three levels in one test: basic structure, intermediate joins and normalisation, advanced performance and integrity. Junior versus senior in one measurement.
03
Real database choices
The questions are about realistic scenarios: choosing the right key, spotting a redundancy, fixing a slow query.

Information

Three levels

Basic (tables, keys, simple queries), intermediate (joins, normalisation, indexes) and advanced (transactions, constraints, performance).

Multiple choice, knockout format

No open answers, no subjective grading. Immediately clear who has the basics and who doesn't, so you can move on with the candidates who matter.

Under time pressure

The test has a fixed time limit. Candidates answer as many questions as they can within that time, so you measure not just knowledge but also pace.

Instant insight for the recruiter

After the test the score lands in your dashboard right away. No waiting, no manual review. Decision-ready in an hour.

The Big Five Personality Model assesses key personality traits that influence behavior and performance:

Green key icon symbolizing security or access.

Relational basics

Tables, primary keys, foreign keys, and the structures that make data findable and trustworthy.

Orange planet with irregular surface markings resembling craters or patches.

Schema design

Normalisation, redundancy, and why a well-designed schema saves hours every week.

Orange icon of a plus sign inside a dotted square.

Performance & indexes

Indexes, query performance, and knowing when a slow query is the database's fault and when it isn't.

Green thumbs-up icon symbolizing approval or like.

Data integrity

Transactions, constraints, backups, and the safety nets that keep data from going wrong silently.
