Welcome NAME,

General information at the beginning of the questionnaire

About the assessment
This assessment helps to gain insights into individual personality traits and preferences.

An example of a trait we measure is the degree of enthusiasm versus restraint. Both ends of the spectrum have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Good to know
There are no right or wrong answers when completing the personality questionnaire. Your answers merely indicate the extent to which you possess certain characteristics.

Some questions may be difficult to answer. In that case, go with the rule of thumb: the first answer that comes to mind is often the best one!

Ready to begin?
To complete the assessment in the best way possible, we recommend doing it in your preferred language. You can switch languages in the menu.

On a mobile device, you can swipe to select your answer.

Once you begin this part of the assessment, you must complete it in one sitting. Your progress cannot be saved.

Consent questions presented to the candidate before starting the test

The consent screen links to the Privacy Statement, which names the special category nature of the data, the use of automated decision-making with the candidate's consent and the right to human intervention.

First processing purpose

To determine the match between applicant and organisation through a skills profile.

First consent question to the candidate

Do you agree to us processing your data to create a skills profile and based on that determine your match with different positions?

Your personal information and answers will never be shared with others without your permission. You will receive your personal report with the results, after which you can decide if you want to share it with the person who invited you.

'Yes' is required to proceed.

You can read the full privacy policy of Selection Lab by clicking here.
  • Legal basis: Explicit consent.
  • Data involved: Name, e-mail address, telephone number where the assessment runs by telephone, data generated during the service (including psychometric data classified as special category data).
  • Retention period: 6 months.
  • If 'No': The assessment ends and the candidate is taken to the Selection Lab user portal. The recruiting organisation may not use the refusal as a selection criterion and continues the procedure by an alternative route, for example an on-site interview.

Second processing purpose

To store the digital skills profile so the individual can access it.

Second consent question to the candidate

Do you want to keep unlimited access to your own digital skills profile? If you don't agree, we'll delete all your data after six months. You won't be able to use this data for (future) application processes with this or other organizations and you'll have to redo this part. If you do agree, we'll keep your data for up to twenty years. You can withdraw this consent at any time and we'll delete all your data. For the progress of this application process, it doesn't matter if you give consent. You can read more about this in the full privacy statement of Selection Lab, which you can find here.
  • Legal basis: Explicit consent.
  • Data involved: Name, e-mail address, telephone number where the assessment runs by telephone, data generated during the service (including psychometric data classified as special category data).
  • Retention period: Until the individual withdraws consent or up to 20 years. An annual reminder asking the candidate to confirm whether the profile may be kept is planned and not yet in operation; the candidate can withdraw consent at any time via [email protected].

Third processing purpose

To improve the matching algorithm.

Third consent question to the candidate

Can we supplement and analyze your data to optimize the process of matching candidates to this organization? If you don't agree, we'll delete all your data for this organization after six months. This organization won't be able to use your data for any (future) application processes, so you might have to go through this part again. Have you already given permission to store your data for up to twenty years? Then you can share your data with this organization again in the future. If you do agree, we'll keep your data for up to five years. You can withdraw this consent at any time and we'll delete all your data. For the progress of this application process, it doesn't matter if you give consent. You can read more about this in the full privacy statement of Selection Lab, which you can find here.
  • Legal basis: Explicit consent.
  • Data involved: Name, e-mail address, telephone number where the assessment runs by telephone, data generated during the service (including psychometric data), and classification data provided by organisations (e.g. department, recruitment stage, whether a candidate was hired, and how well an employee performs within the organisation).
  • Retention period: 5 years.

AI chat

Where the organisation uses the AI chat, its opening message states that the conversation uses AI. Before anything is submitted, the chat sends a summary of the questions and the candidate's answers as the chat understood them. The candidate can reply in the conversation to change any answer, and submits by clicking "Confirm"; after that the answers can no longer be changed.
